I guess I know why they use those titles (tradition)… I just wish they didn’t, but all will be corrected by our Master soon. And by saying that I see that I also have many things I’ve held on to and MANY short comings. I pray that we all would be purified to walk as the Master has told us and given repentance in these issues.
I still embrace them and by no means am worthy of judging any man, I only want the name of esteem to be set in the Highest Place among us.
@faxchase
You know I agree, I know that some Messianics hold to Christian traditions, as the children of Israel held to Egypt. We are steeped in traditions of men and this is the problem.
@PastorErickDMarquez
Yes, I did and thank you! I have reviewed it and agree, But if I agree then that would go for all other symbols and that could be truth. My question is will the Christian give up their cross. I’m not sure.
Right, and I don’t think it’s right to divide over the sound of YHWH…
That being said most of us have come out of the lies only to find there are almost zero groups walking in truth and not holding on to traditions. I’ve just been surprised to see how the Messianic groups tend to adopt traditions and fall into that same trap (Obviously not the same traditions as the Christians).
I just wish they would at least proclaim the name since they know the truth on the matter.
@faxchase O.K. I believe that the NAME was taking out to hide the identity of Y’shua. I find it interesting the all the NAMES that Orthodoxy has assigned to him have 3 syllables. Adonai, Elohim, Etc. So I believe that the NAME should have 3 syllables like YAHUWAH or YAHOWAH. Just a thought. LORD and GOD I don’t believe is proper but I use it sometimes as to not alienate some.
@faxchase
That is a great question that I have asked myself many times and have struggled with. There are some who only use the NAME Adonai, HaShem, Elohim, There are other that will argue about the pronounciation as being YAHOWAH, YAHOVAH, YAHUWAH and so on and on. I was thinking the other day on this.
@faxchase I agree brother.

Hey, I’ve got a question paulgem123… Why do the Messianic’s use “lord” and “god” so much if they know where that tradition came from?
I’ve never understood this… Thanks, and Sabbath Peace today!
