The Barnes & Noble Nook is the newest electronic book reader on the market and takes things to the next level with both AT&T and WiFi connectivity, support for the largest number of ebooks available, capability to lend books, and more. Let’s take a look at the hardware, navigation, and ebook reading aspects of the device.
A lot of the time, in movie or book reviews I see brackets around words that, if you took those words out the review would make no sense. Why do people do that?
Example:
“Will leave [fans] breathless for more.”
“[A] riveting fantasy.”
Why??
What are some of the worst children’s books. I mean books that are for children around toddler ages?
What are the worst childrens books regarding sexism, racism and others. What are the names of books you have noticed that show boys working or girls only playing with dolls. What are some good resources to find these books which children should be steered clear of. I want a list a NO books so that I do not include any of them in my classroom please help, I want to know what children books have the worst ideas regarding to sexism and racism, thanks
Around Oconee: Book construction workshop starts soon
The Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation is hosting a workshop for people who have had previous book-making experience but wish to enhance their skills. Students will construct book covers, including a box book, under the guidance of instructor Dave Smiley.
