I just finished reading “Uncle Silas” and now I’m raring to get at another mid-1800’s horror or ghost thriller. Really anything written before the 20th century is fine, I’m in an old-fashioned book mood right now. I want something really scary and suspenseful! Does anyone know of anything good?
Alright people, thanks for the answers, but I’m pretty sure Stephen King didn’t write before the twentieth century, an neither did Anne Rice. Considering they’re both still alive and writing today and all, I mean.

I just ordered The Amityville Horror and heard what it was about and how it was a true story. So I was looking for another book kinda like that and also based on a true story. Thanx!!

I just started reading romance books, I thought I wouldn’t be interested in them. But I am. And I have read two so far that involved werewoves and I like them. If anyone would like to share a title that would be interesting I’d be thankful.

I need either a site similar to sparknotes, or just a site that offers the whole text for free. please dont give me a list of sites that have ebooks and study guides – i’ve already searched all of them. I need to know a site that has the book for sure, thanx.

I was reading that a review of Armando Montelongo’s eBook “Flip and Grow Rich” was pending review at www.riskyschemes.com but there are no updates. Has anyone bought this material? Can you tell me if it is worth the price that Montelongo is asking?
