Really, our English teacher is really nice and our whole class is nice to her but reallythe books she recommends just, bore me andiknow they bore everyone else too. Don’t anyof you hate me if isay idon’t like these books but, these weresome she madeus (and is making us) read; The Giver, Animal Farm (which we just started but the plot already soundsBORING) and ThePigman. And yes i do agree trying to explain a book does make it sound stupid =P
The Outsiders was an awesome book. I loved it!!
I also love the Darren Shan books, which are VERY good. I would totally recomend them for anyone.
And I still haven’t read all of the Warriors books!!!
Though, I don’t get much time to do so…lol. Too busy with onther books.
Oh, and The Grapes Of Wrath is an ahmazing book. It is kinda boring at first, but I can quarantee it gets better, lol.
i read outsiders! and watched the movie (in english)
i have also read all four twilights
and warriors (thats still the best to me)
oh harry potters also good (i cant choose between harry and warriors…)
I’ll have to look them up. But it may be a while before I have time to get reading. Now that I’ve started High School I don’t have much free time any more! ^^”

i have 2 book series that i would like to recomend to you(i dont know if you have already tried reading them) the first would be *Guardians of Ga’Hoole* by Kathryn Lasky,the second would be the *gregor the overlander*series by Suzanne Collins. p.s will u be my freind.(u dont have to if u dont want to)
BTW, Starship Troopers is the influences for Starcraft, Halo, and Warhammer 40k. It’s pretty big in Japan too as it inspired the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam.
1. I can understand that. I’m a pretty big fan, but it really bothers me when all people talk about is Twilight.

The Bug war is also an extension that man is a wild animal. Both the Terrans and Arachnids fail to understand each other in the war and try to eliminate the other.
Also you don’t read Starship Troopers for simply entertainment value, it’s meant to be philosophical, political and thought provoking.
In short you read it and other Heinlein books to expand your mind and morals.

And I’m like bellacullen365, all my friends Kept bugging me to read it (well actualy half, the other half read it before it was popular and hate how obsessed people are with twilight) but to get them off my back I read it, and it was okay, I think I’m just not into romance, (don’t hate me twilight lovers, it was still a good book) Anyways, I read like the first few pages of starship troopers and quit because for me it wasn’t required.
I hope to read the outsiders soon:)
