Im so sad to see Manhunter go. Also, i totally agree with Justin: The dialogues are fantastic. Certainly some of the best.
I also like the first class stuff. Its fun, and has no pretentions other than giving you a nice story. Thats a very rare(and severely underrated) quality in today’s comicdom i think.
They are in love after all.
I Kill Giants was one of the best miniseries of 2008, and of course almost no-one has heard of it. The story was really sweet,and it kept up the mystery real well, until the big reveal in issue #6. Nimura’s art style is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It also kept a regular schedule real well (at least compared to other comics Image publishes), so that was also nice.
To anyone reading this: give Image a shot, they really have some great titles to offer.
