Review of the Asus Eee PC 900HA netbook from my dining room table. BREAKING NEWS – MAY 5 2009 The review of the Eee PC 1000HE has just been posted. You’ll find it at www.youtube.com . Now you have a choice between two different form factors. SHOW NOTES The boot time of a minute and a half is the time it takes for a fully loaded Windows installation to become usable. The time it takes for the desktop to appear on a fresh install with no software installed yet and the Quick Boot BIOS option activated is 30 seconds. There have been reports of “grain” on the screen. This is a result of the anti-glare coating on the screen. If after adjusting the color correction you still find the screen to be a bit too blue, try setting the red’s gamma to 1.1. The review of the Eee PC 900 can be found at www.youtube.com .

NICÉ !
Better buy is MSI wind 135 with Intel atom 450 / 250 € …
well guess it doesnt matter if the windows 7 was a trial version, he still included window XP, extra battery,2 gigs of ram, and not to mention 300 gig of hdd!!! i only wish i had bid with more confidence and won the it =/
Well thx for the insight.
Yep. That’s why I couldn’t find it. The auction was over.
From the pictures, it looked like the hardware configuration was legitimate. The 900HA already had one battery installed, and the second battery was also in the shot.
The only doubt I have are the authenticity of Windows 7 and Microsoft Office. Those components alone should have been worth well over $200. They could have been trial or pre-release versions.
It might not entirely be a red flag, but it was definitely a yellow one.
or u know what ill just message it to you since the chat box wants to be retarded
well if you still want to check out the page, go to my channel and i will post the ebay link in the chat box below in my channel.
The auction appears to be over. The seller has nothing to sell at this time.
ami123amar_123
name of the item: Asus Eee PC 900HA WITH EXTRAS!! 2GB RAM,300GB HDD
Tell me what u think about it after.
Just post the name of the seller. I’ll find it.
ahh wth i cant post the ebay page
oh i mean .3 mp, it only comes with windows 7 installed, but windows xp cd is included in the sale.
A 1.3 MP camera (the 900HA only has 0.3 MP) and Win 7 Ultimate ($175 for a legit OEM license) along with 2 GB of RAM ($25) and a 320 GB drive ($90) all for $231?
Seems a bit suspicious, especially the addition of Win 7 Ultimate.
hey, you think i should have bought the asus 900ha from ebay with the following specs:
2 gigs of ddr ram
300 gig of hdd
windows 7 ultimate
same processor
1.3 camera
for like 231 buck? Even though it is used?
i mean the sale is over, i wanted to get it but i got outbidded. =/
Contact Asus. They’re the only ones who can help you now.
@TheCanadianPublic i downloded it to destop then i installed half way the power turned becase of a thuder strike there wasnt battery turn it on again nothing cam up
Uh oh.
Check out their support site (support asus com) to see if they have a solution for that. If not, you might have to send it to Asus to have them reset the BIOS.
How did you try to install a new BIOS? From the ASUS Windows utility? From a USB flash drive?
can u help me i was install bios yea. then the laptop turned off i turn it on then it doesnt turn on any more it has a black screen
k u onin about lol
very informative yet entertaining, too. good job!
For now, I’m limiting myself to using bad products as doorstops. But one day, there will be a product that’s so horrible in both form and function that I’ll…
No. I’ll keep that a secret for now.
oh so you didnt smash it with that hammer
you just sorta faked it not that i mind it certainly funny to see what you do with things you dont like or want
Great, easy to understand review. Thanks alot.
Thanks for this very informative video. This will help me a lot in choosing my purchase. I really like this model. Keep up the good work, your video was A+.
All the netbook manufacturers have done an excellent job in the quality department. Even when trying them in the stores, not a single netbook has ever felt excessively “cheap”. In fact, I’m surprised by how similar they all are in quality.
However, there are two things that would make me immediately reject a netbook purchase. The first is no user upgradable hard drive and memory (which I always upgrade), and the second is mouse buttons positioned on the side of the trackpad (too awkward).
Haha great review!
But how do you compare Asus for quality compared to HP, Dell, and Toshiba? (not to mention Acer as well?)
Your feedback would be much appreciated! Thank you!
I love this video… very entertaining : ) AND informative… thank you!
